I have a simple message for Lyn Jenkins (22nd July): WAKE UP!
The Climate Emergency has not gone away. The trend with all environmental indicators is worse than we expected, and sooner than we expected; extreme events are taking more and more human lives and destroying Nature wholesale. If we don’t cut fossil fuel consumption fast, and across all activities, our children and grandchildren will be facing disaster after disaster: crop failures, floods, coastal destruction, wholesale species loss – and other diseases, possibly much worse than this one.
