My other finds at Albion Sands on Tuesday 21st… I have found the occasional tropical sea bean, and conifer cones come ashore covered in weed but with their seeds still viable; however, I don’t recall ever finding an ocean-travelled coconut before: I am sure it is straight from a tree, because it retains its sheath of coir.
I am hoping that a green-fingered friend will try planting it to see what happens!
