More evidence of climate disruption
After a madly warm and dry spring followed by a very wet spell,
now we suffer winter storm wind speeds with extra strong gusts.
These aren’t ordinary windfalls, ripe fruit which dropped before it could be picked:
these are just some of the Adam Pearmains brought down last night, nowhere near ready.
Would have made excellent keepers, had they stayed on the tree at least another month.
